If you think your apartment has mold, first it’s important to know where. Search cubby holes, crawl spaces, attics, bathrooms–anywhere there might be mold. This information will arm you to be ready to call your landlord and tell him or her the problem.

2. Leave the area

Now that you’re fairly certain you have mold, we recommend leaving the infested area. Breathing in mold spores is dangerous for your health. it can even affect your pets’ health. So leave the area for your safety, before you do anything else. extended exposure to mold can trigger allergies and even lead to mold illness or fungal infections.
