The symptoms of mold exposure look a lot like allergy symptoms initially. They include coughing, wheezing, rashes, watery eyes, runny nose, and more. You may actually have a mold infestation somewhere in your home.
Look for Visible Signs
When searching for mold, people typically look for black mold since that’s the most toxic kind. However, mold can be a variety of colors like blue, gray, green, pink, or white. Typically it appears in spots and it will stand out visually from its surroundings. If you have spots on your walls or see darkened areas, then it may very well be mold. Don’t mistake mold for simple discoloration!
